The paratha is a flat bread which is made from wheat flour and baked on a tawa. This paratha originated in the Indian subcontinent. Paratha is eaten by people in their breakfast. So, it is their important and tasty breakfast. Paratha is served with pickle, curd and any daal. It is made with ghee or oil and we can also bake it in the oven in place of a tawa. Paratha is stuffed with aloo, peas, paneer, onions, gobhi and chilies.

Onion paratha is also known as pyaaz Ka paratha. This is one of the most popular paratha which is made in Punjabi homes. Moreover, it is easy to make this paratha because it is made with onions and  these onions are easily available at every home.

There are many types of paratha such as aloo Ka paratha, mooli Ka paratha, veg paratha, daal paratha, bathua paratha and band gobi wala paratha etc. Now we will discuss about onion paratha in detail.
