Recipe of Turnips , Recipe of Shalgam ki sabzi, how to make turnips

Turnip is a root vegetable and it  is a white
in colour. Eating turnips are beneficial for
our health because turnips are rich in fiber
and vitamins. Turnips are rich in vitamin
A,C,E,K,B2,B5,B6. There are many types of
minerals like potassium,iron,magnesium,
calcium are available in turnips.
Turnips also strengthen the immune system. Roots of Turnips plays its role in the proper functioning of the immune system.
It helps in preventing heart attack and heat
stroke. Daily consumption of Turnips keeps our skin bright .If we consume  turnip regularly, then it will improve the health and colour of our hair.

Cook Time :-  20 minutes
Total Time :- 35 minutes
Servings :- 7

Ingredients
1. Turnips :- 10
2. Onions :- 5
3. Garlic :- 1
4.Ginger :- 4 inch
5.Salt  to taste
6. Green chillies :- 2 and half teaspoon
7. Spice :- 2 teaspoon
8.Turmeric powder :- 2 teaspoons
9.Ghee or oil :- 4 teaspoons
10. Coriander leaves :- 4 teaspoons

Preparation  for turnips
1. First of all, take turnips and rinse turnips
with water.
2.Now peel and chop these turnips with a knife into pieces.




3.Chop onions, green chillies, garlic, ginger
and coriander leaves.

Cooking of Shalgam (turnip) ki sabzi

1.Take oil in a pan and hot it for 1 to 2 minutes.



2.After heating oil ,add chopped onions,garlic and ginger in this oil  and cook these ingredients till its colour becomes to light brown.
3. After colour changing ,add salt , green chillies,spice and turmeric powder and mix it well. Cook it for 1 minutes and add coriander leaves  and mix it.





4. Now add chopped Turnips and mix turnips well with the mixture of all ingredients. After mixing , cover it with a lid. Remember that you must stir this vegetable occasionally so that turnips prevents from burning.



5.This vegetable takes about 25 minutes to
cook properly. When turnips cook properly
it looks like as shown in picture.



6. As you know that it is eaten with roti or
phulka. To give an extra taste ,you can place a butter on it  while eating.
