Recipe of Turnips , Recipe of Shalgam ki sabzi, how to make turnips

Turnip is a root vegetable and it  is a white
in colour. Eating turnips are beneficial for
our health because turnips are rich in fiber
and vitamins. Turnips are rich in vitamin
A,C,E,K,B2,B5,B6. There are many types of
minerals like potassium,iron,magnesium,
calcium are available in turnips.
Turnips also strengthen the immune system. Roots of Turnips plays its role in the proper functioning of the immune system.
It helps in preventing heart attack and heat
stroke. Daily consumption of Turnips keeps our skin bright .If we consume  turnip regularly, then it will improve the health and colour of our hair.

Ingredients
1. Turnips :- 10
2. Onions :- 5
3. Garlic :- 1
4.Ginger :- 4 inch
5.Salt  to taste
6. Green chillies :- 2 and half teaspoon
7. Spice :- 2 teaspoon
8.Turmeric powder :- 2 teaspoons
9.Ghee or oil :- 4 teaspoons
10. Coriander leaves :- 4 teaspoons

Preparation  for turnips
1. First of all, take turnips and rinse turnips
with water.
2.Now peel and chop these turnips with a knife into pieces.




3.Chop onions, green chillies, garlic, ginger
and coriander leaves.

Cooking of Shalgam (turnip) ki sabzi

1.Take oil in a pan and hot it for 1 to 2 minutes.



2.After heating oil ,add chopped onions,garlic and ginger in this oil  and cook these ingredients till its colour becomes to light brown.
3. After colour changing ,add salt , green chillies,spice and turmeric powder and mix it well. Cook it for 1 minutes and add coriander leaves  and mix it.





4. Now add chopped Turnips and mix turnips well with the mixture of all ingredients. After mixing , cover it with a lid. Remember that you must stir this vegetable occasionally so that turnips prevents from burning.



5.This vegetable takes about 25 minutes to
cook properly. When turnips cook properly
it looks like as shown in picture.



6. As you know that it is eaten with roti or
phulka. To give an extra taste ,you can place a butter on it  while eating.

Recipe of aloo paratha , how to make aloo paratha ,aloo Ka paratha kaise banti hai

Aloo paratha is a stuffed bread dish which is stuffed with spicy mashed potatoes. It is simple to make aloo paratha  and it is made with  ingredients like mashed potatoes, salt,
green chillies, spice , coriander leaves and onions. All these ingredients are easily available  at our home. This paratha can be 
eaten in morning, lunch and dinner.It tastes
best when you eat it with curd and pickle. 
Aloo paratha is one of the most popular recipe that is  eaten  in all regions of India.

Ingredients
1. What flour :- 2 cup
2. Potatoes :- 3
3.Salt to  taste
4. Green chillies :- 1 teaspoon
5.Spice :- 1 teaspoon
6. Onion :- 1 chopped
7. Coriander leaves :- 3 teaspoons
8. Water :- 4 cup


Preparation for aloo paratha
1. First of all , take three  potatoes.Rinse these potatoes with the water. Boil theses potatoes in water. Potatoes takes enough time to boil.
2. Now peel boiled potatoes.Mash potatoes with potatoes with potato masher.There should be no lumps or small pieces in it.
3. Take 2 cup of wheat flour and knead it with water. Knead it till it becomes crack free dough.
4. Chop one onion , 3 to 4 green chillies and 
coriander leaves.

How to make Aloo paratha

1. Take boiled potatoes .Mash these potatoes properly.


2. Now add salt, chopped green chillies, spice powder, onions and coriander leaves
in mashed potatoes.


3.Mix all these ingredients Very well  as shown in picture.You should check the taste
of this mixture.




4. Now take kneaded dough . Take some dough into your hands and shape it into a ball.         
                  
5. Flat it with a rolling pin and roll it into about 4 to 4.5 inches and place the potato
stuffing in the center and keep  about 2 to 2.5 inches space from the sides.




6. Take the edge and start pleating and press the pleats from the center.



7. Sprinkle some flour and roll this stuffed paratha same as that of roti.



8.Place this paratha on the tawa.When one part is partly cooked, flip it. Spread ghee on 
partly cooked side .



9.when other side is cooked  , spread ghee on this side too.
10. Now your paratha is ready to eat .Eat this paratha with a curd and pickle.

Lassi is a sweet and savoury drink and made from curd or buttermilk base with water.Lassi is loved by many peoples in India.It is a cooling drink and drinking in the hot weather.It tastes best when it is served with aloo paratha and makki ki roti and sarson ka saag.Lassi can be  salty and sweet. We can garnish it with dry fruits.
There are many benefits of drinking Lassi.
It makes our bones stronger because it is rich in calcium.Lassi is a rich source of lactic acid and vitamin D1 which helps to boost our immune system.It is also helps in preventing constipation . Lassi is generally
drinking in the morning time.

INGREDIENTS
1.Curd (dahi) :- 1 cup
2.water :- 2 cup
3.Sugar :- 2 teaspoons
4. Cardmom :- 5 to 6


HOW TO MAKE LASSI

1. Take 6 to 7  cardmom, remove the husk and crush the seeds.







2. Crush these seeds to a powder.






3. Take 1 cup of fresh curd (dahi).






4.Now with a madani or blender mix this curd till it becomes smooth.







5. The next step is to add 2 and half teaspoons of sugar.Use the size of spoon as
shown in picture.






6. Add 2 cup of water also and churn the madani in the Lassi mixture.





7.Churn Lassi till sugar dissolves and you see a layer on the top.






8. Add a one teaspoon of  crushed cardmom powder.





9.Mix it with madani again.








10. Pour Lassi into a glasses and serve it.
